My coworker Mike (and his wife Kathy) had a little party, and we attended. Actually, after much debate, I skipped my 10-year high school reunion for the party. Talk about dedication. Anyway, a party split down the middle with teachers and auditors. How weird.
Of course, Joe & Natasha had to show up in
a limo. Imagine our surprise!

Why, Jorge undressing! As usual!

Paul Varghese was touring the East & West Coasts as part of the Gurus of Comedy Tour, hitting L.A., San Jose, San Francisco, NYC, and Boston. A number of us old CSI church folks were able to catch him during either the 7pm or 9pm shows at the Imaginasian Theater on the Upper East Side. Tom, Matt, Tabitha, etc, all hit the 7pm show, while Teena drove in, and Num took the train in, and we three met up at the theater for the 9pm show.
Decent show, but Paul closed out the night, and I was glad to see the crowd really having a good time. Heck, it was so funny, I just hoped I didn't pee in my own pants. The ladies don't really find that attractive.
Uh.... back to Paul. We all agreed he was the best part of the show, and the only part that made the $20 ticket price worth it. Hey, now that's an endorsement. My sister-in-law is in the Dallas area, so I'll have to recommend that she take a drive down to the Improv in Addison.

Surprise! Who else came to see Paul? Sandhya! No way!

I saw an early performance on tape 3 years ago, and
now Indian women want his autograph. Bastard
|
However, I didn't get jealous until the other women
started lining up, and taking photos with him

If you can't beat the Paul Varghese groupies, join them

Had our department holiday party at Bar 13 down near the NYU/13th St/University Place. First time for me, the place was happening enough that no one left to hit another location. I had enough presence of mind to stay only until 11:30pm, and still make my way up to Penn Station to make my train.
I think they were hoping' I didn't bring the

I haven't participated in a while, because, you know, I have a life. However, I finally got some time to join up with everyone. This month was at Doug's new place that he recently moved into with his girlfriend Kathy. Also participating were his older brothers Mike, Pete (who connected from his home in Oregon), and Adrian (who stayed up all night as he played from home in Hong Kong).
I, however, had mucho problemos, and I'm dying for a new computer.

Just for something a little different, Sandhya decided on hosting an "Italian Nite" party. Everyone brought something, and we brought lasagna (Hmmm, lasagna!) Her brother Vijay played bartender, and we all just hung out. Party ended around 2am, so, yeah, better than staying at home.

We had a whole mess of birthdays to celebrate, so we got together at Lesh's fabulous apartment in the Ironbound section of Newark for drinks, food, and conversation. Num's mother came over to babysit, while we got our collective grooves on.
